I could do a whole week’s worth of HMLSPOTD posts with this same photo, shot in 7 different locations across our region. Vacant units are hard to shoot, and I am often at a loss when it comes to getting a good picture of a boring, empty room. Use a wide angle lens to get more in, and if it’s possible, have your client move in some furniture, or put some art on the walls or some sort of decorative piece in the shot (even using the same 2 or 3 pieces in each shot will give it some personality).
