Wow – this breaks a lot of my “rules” at the same time. Obviously, it’s out-of-focus. Sometimes it’s hard to tell on the small screen of a digital camera, but one this bad should have been easy to see. Always shoot two or three pictures so you have a couple of back-ups in case you miss one like this. Also, think composition. The chair in the lower left shouldn’t be there; a better shot would have had the table just to the left/right of centre, thereby capturing the look and feel of the room. The date function should also be turned off. You don’t want to stale-date your listing by its photos. In fact, I’d like to strangle the digital camera guys who came up with the idea to start putting the date stamp on digital photos. It makes no sense, as each picture is already date-stamped in the jpeg file’s meta-data. Thanks to Dara Sklar of RealtySupport.ca for this photo.

Love these photos. I post bad MLS photos (a la Athol) on Active Rain. Have you gotten any #$%^ for posting these on your blog?
