Turn some lights on, turn the TV off, and use a wide angle lens for a better shot. This room also looks quite cramped with furniture, knick-knacks, and vegetation. It’s always a good idea to encourage your clients to de-clutter before putting their home on the market. Don’t be afraid to be brutal – they’ll soon be moving anyway when you sell their home, so why not make it easy now?!

This REALTOR® has tried to get the whole room in by standing back, but what is really needed to do this is to use a wide-angle lens. Also, opening those curtains and turning on the light would brighten things up considerably, and make the picture much more home-like and much less cave-like. 🙂
