Today, something different. A contest to see if you’ve all been paying attention for the last 268 days. Can anyone out there in Internet-land tell me what’s wrong with this photo, and three ways this photo could be improved? Answers in the comments, please!
I will send the first person three people to answer correctly one of my lovely fiancee’s hand-painted Driftwood Santa Christmas ornaments. Make sure you fill in a correct e-mail address in the comment form (only I can see them, they don’t get posted on the blog). Well, obviously … the closet doors should have been closed.
The light in the other room should have been turned on.
They should have stood back to get a bit more “context” in the shot to see where that hallway was coming from.
It’s also a bit on the crooked side.
But really, it’s a HALLWAY. Do we need a photo of that? Show us the rooms that are connected by the hallway.
1. Turn the camera so you actually get the length of the hall instead a cut-off chunk of it.
2. Close those doors!
3. Use some better lighting instead of having it so dark with the eerie light at the end.
Well Tim, first it’s out of focus and grainy, maybe they should have used flash. And stood straight, perhaps leaning against the wall to sabilize themselves.
Speaking of focus, there’s no focal point in this shot. unless a buyer wants to be certain the place has walls and doors. oh and a ceiling fan. Does that mirror come with the place? It seems important.
